Baja never disappoints!

Yet again the Sea of Cortez delivered an awesome show!

The sealions were super playful again this year at Los Islotes and Pancho, the dominent bull, paid us a visit in Cabo san Lucas, off Land's End.

Whale sharks, mobula rays, diving cormorants... wrecks, massive schools of fish, silky shark...

Just got to love BAJA!

Thanks to good friends Oscar, Ricardo, and Chris for the great diving!!!

Looking for Greenland sharks

Thanks to all our New England friends for coming to visit.

We spent 2 days diving in the Baie-Comeau area, hoping to encounter the elusive Greenland shark.

No luck with the sharks but loads of laughs and great diving!

Great weekend in Rhode Island

Our group is back from an amazing weekend of wreck diving in Rhode Island. We enjoyed beautiful weather and conditions were mostly good although Saturday's dive on the USS Bass, that lies in 160' of water, was a bit more challenging due to current and bumby deco conditions.

On Sunday, we dove the U-853. Conditions were smother with good visibility on the wreck and tons of marine life also.

Fantastic group and a lot of fun!

Exploring the Midriff Islands

We are just back from a week of diving in the Midriff Islands, located in the northern portion of the Sea of Cortez. We spent a week on the Rocio del Mar liveaboard.

We had overall good weather but visibility was rather limited on most of our dives so we concentrated on the wide variety of macro critters.

On a few sites, we were able to play with sealions and on the last day we snorkeled with whale sharks in Bahia de Los Angeles.

Diving this portion is very different from diving the South in the La Paz area. In the North, the reefs are much more colorful and the black coral is outstanding.

Beneath the Sea (BTS) 2015

Had a great weekend at the 2015 edition of Beneath the Sea.

Had fun catching up with friends and meeting new people such as Leslie Rochat, a well-known shark activist from South-Africa.
BTS 2015
The film festival started off with a bang! First off, the always incredible short film BAJA by our good friend Erick Higuera.
